  3. demonstrate a DVT ultrasound exam, including positioning, and a two-point compression ultrasound of the femoral and popliteal veins on a standardized patient, demonstrating correct technique as observed by an instructor.
  4. identify arterial and venous structures and perform ultrasound-guided vascular access on a task trainer, facilitated by instructor demonstration and feedback.
  5. perform a complete eFAST exam on a live model, correctly identifying pericardial, pleural, and abdominal views, as assessed by a an instructor.
  6. identify renal anatomy on a standardized patient and identify hydronephrosis on ultrasound using a task trainer, with performance evaluated by an instructor.
  7. identify lung sliding, B-lines, pleural effusion, and pneumothorax on live models or task trainers, as demonstrated through supervised scanning.
